The Day In The Life Of A Test Subject

For my semester final in the Digital Media program at Santa Fe College, I had to make a 5 minute long sci-fi short film. There were very little requirements besides A) The script has to be 5 pages long. B) Visual Effects have to be included to a certain degree. My group created a sci-fi comedy "mockumentary" following a college student in the day of his life as a product tester/ human test subject for a secret research facility. I acted as Produce and editor for this project. Notably, I also did the composite vfx shots for the portal scenes. This was my most complex project to date, with dozens of props, multiple locations, a real budget, and months of planning. I am very happy with how it turned out.

This Film went on to be showcased at the largest student film festival in Florida , Orange & Blue, where it went on to win “Best VFX”.
